Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment and materials do you use?

You provide the cleaning materials and the equipment to clean your home. You can be reassured that our cleaners do not use cloths and mops in a number of different houses.  This is for hygiene reasons. We use the products that you supply, so you know that your home is being cleaned with your preferred choices.

Our ironing service can be done in your home using your equipment.  Ironing can also be collected and delivered.  This is done in a non- smoking environment.

Do I have to remain at home?

It is up to you, the client, whether you choose to hand a key over to you’re cleaner or whether you prefer to be present when they arrive.  This is an individual choice and only you can decide if you want your cleaner to hold a key to your home.  Most of our cleaners do hold keys to their client’s addresses.

Are the cleaners insured and CRB/DBS checked?

We require and ensure that ALL of our cleaners hold a valid CRB/DBS certificate.  As a company we hold public liability insurance and employer’s insurance.  Documentation can be provided upon your request.  We want our client’s to feel reassured.

I have a pet?

If you’re pet is friendly and does not pose a risk to our staff, we are happy to come to you’re home.

Is there a contract term/cancellation fees or notices?

There is no contract term.  All we require is a minimum of 2 hours for a regular cleaning service. If you need to cancel a scheduled service, we ask that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hrs notice.  This allows us to re allocate/re schedule your cleaner/service.  If a service is cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice we will still require the payment.

You can cancel or re schedule your service by calling or e mailing us.

If you wish to terminate your service than we require one month’s notice in writing (via e mail or letter).

We ask that you read and accept our terms and conditions prior to accepting our services.

Our terms and conditions can be found on the website and will be sent to you in you’re welcome package.

How do I pay for the service that I require?

We require one month’s payment in advance. This is for client’s that require a regular cleaning/ironing service.

We appreciate that you may wish to pay at a date that suits you, for example pay day.  You can set up a monthly standing order or pay by cheque.

A standing order form with our banking details will be sent to you within you’re welcome package.

Cheques can be sent to our trading address listed on our home page.

Once your payment is received your pledge2sparkle service will begin.

A monthly invoice will be sent to you.
